About Joshua
Joshua C. Terrell isn't just a trainer who talks a good game — he lives it. A competitive weightlifter and avid cyclist based right here in Dublin, Ohio, Josh has spent the better part of a decade in the gym and on the trail figuring out what actually works.
What started as a personal obsession with barbells turned into a mission: help regular people in central Ohio train smarter, get stronger, and feel genuinely proud of what their bodies can do. Josh holds multiple certifications and continues studying because fitness science moves fast and his clients deserve the best.
When he's not in the gym, you'll find him logging miles on the Scioto Audubon and Glacier Ridge Metro Park trail, competing in local cycling events, or nerding out on mobility research. Dublin is home, and training Dublin residents is his purpose.
The Journey
Josh picked up a barbell at Ohio State and never put it down. Within a year he was competing in local novice powerlifting meets and coaching friends at the campus rec center.
After earning his degree, Josh began training clients in Dublin-area gyms, focusing on strength and general fitness for working adults who wanted real structure.
A bet with a friend turned into a full cycling season. Josh discovered how endurance and strength training amplified each other, and began integrating both disciplines into client programs.
Josh settled in Dublin and built a local client base from scratch. He now trains clients at partner facilities and in-home across the Dublin–Hilliard–Powell area.
Eight-plus years in, Josh still programs every session himself, checks in personally with every client, and treats results like they're his own. No cookie-cutter plans here.

Every rep has a reason. No filler exercises, no wasted sets — just purposeful work toward your specific goal.
You shouldn't wonder if your program is working. Josh checks in, adjusts, and answers questions between sessions.
